www.bbbonbon.ie
This is a super website that sells on line favours, maybe not so much known in Ireland, but definately in Italy and Belgium it’s a long tradition that if you give birth, the visitors that come to see you, receive a chocolate favour.  I quote from their website …Our favours are all hand made to suit your taste and budget, they come fully assembled and delivered to your doorstep.

www.bumpstobooties.com/BirthAnnouncements.html
This is another well designed and well stocked on line business, ran by Cathy Owens. It’s also a bit different, as you can buy birth announcements. It’s back to basics, and it’s something your baby will  treasures when they have long left the house, their own birth announcements that the parents carefully prepare before baby is born. Once Baby is born these are sent to give all the information and vital stats of the new baby. Particularly in Belgium you’ll always receive a birth announcement, and people would be nearly offended if they didn’t get one!!!

I had read about this website in some parenting magazine, it’s a babysit service for yourself and your friends, whereby you can create a circle of friends, and post when you need a babysit, the idea being you don’t have to pay for a babysit, as long as you return the favour to your friend(s). Great Idea I thought and it’s free!!!!
